You need to see this film. This is a lovely film that has haunted me since I saw it.
The film is about a man named Mario who wants nothing more than to be a dad. He spoils his niece mercilessly. Unexpectedly Mario finds his is pregnant (Mario is a transman). Suddenly his world is turned upside down because suddenly he realizes that the one thing he wanted may actually be a possibility.
I loved this film. This is one of the best discoveries of 2026.
I loved that the film never strays from being a human story. Yes, it is film about a trans man, but it doesn't do what many trans stories do and that is heighten the tale because of its subject. Everything remains grounded. Its about the people on screen, all of them. This is a story that transcends being LGBT and is about all of us.
I was moved.
Finding films like this are why I created Unseen FIlms and why I tend to say yes to as many films as I think I can handle. You never know what you are going to discover out of the blue.
If you want a film that will move you and haunt you for days, this is an absolute must see.
