Angela Trimbur stars as Faye, a crook gone straight, who is talked into commiting one more score. It all goes wrong and she has to go on the run. However everyone has an angle and everyone doesn't mind killing.
Bleak, black modern noir is a film that is hard to like. Its not that the film is bad, rather that everyone is scum, with Faye being the least scumy. More damning is the fact that it feels like everyone is dead man walking. We don't have time to connect to anyone before they are dying badly. This is such an oppresive film that it probably would kill its audience to steal its pocorn if it could.
The film walks the line between suspense and gallows humor which allows for some great lines and keeps the audience from giving up hope.
As good as the film and Trimbur are, things were a bit too bleak for me. If you like that sort of thing give it a shot.
