This is a portrait of Samuel Habib who has cerebral palsy and is confined to a wheelchair. However that doesn’t stop him from living life to it’s fullest nor does it stop him from interviewing people, including famous people, about their lives.
Samuel seems to be a great guy. He is chugging along doing what he has to in order to live life on hs terms. Undeterred by his illness he simply plows along with his friends and family.
What makes this film work beyond Sam‘s winning personality is the fact that the film has him interviewing various people such as Tony Award winner Ali Stoker who talks about herself needing a wheelchair to get along. The interviews make the film because not only does it expand the view of the film, but it also allows us to see what a great person Sam is via his insightful questions.
This is a super film and is recommended.
