MOUSE is the story of a high school senior getting ready to go off to college. When her best friend is killed in a car accident her life is thrown into disarray. She ends up finding support from the mother of her deceased friend and falling for the girl who works at the local video store.
This is a moving film that will require tissues. Tears, both happy and sad will flow. They flow because we care about the characters on screen and because the film doesn't follow the expected path. This is not a Hollywood production where the course of life and grief follows a predicted path. The reality is that this is film of complications where choices collide with other choices. It is a film that feels real and has weight.
I really liked this film a great deal and after I was sone I emailed several friends to tell them that they should track the film down.
Recommended.
