In 2009 a 60 foot hole was found on Mount Shasta in California. No one knew how it got there. There was no sign of anything other than a ladder, ropes, a chain and a five gallon bucket. The hole was filled in but the mystery remained.
Director Elijah Sullivan investigates the mystery in a film that is going to have you asking why it takes a hour and a half to get there. This is a low key, I mean really low key film that is going to try your patience if you don't fall asleep. Don't get me wrong, the actual mystery is interesting but it's dragged out. The film is trying to make everything seem mysterious so everyone sits in he dark and the tiles listing who they are are done in black titles over dim images.
I was intrigued up to a point, and then I drifted off.
