MASAO ADACHI TAKES A PASSPORT PHOTO
A filmmaker, who never had a passport, poses for a passport photo whilst the widow who runs the studio has to deal with the printer
This a low key film shot by Neo Sora for director Kamal Aljafari that is very low key and dry. It's slow nature didn't work for me.
A STOLEN MOVIE
Director Camilo Restrepo couldn't afford to shoot a movie and instead took a film about the infamous Corvair cars traveling across Central America and added a narration.
This is an interesting film that reminds me of all the great Avant Garde films that played NYFF years ago when they had their own section and forced us to rethink what we were seeing.
