After the death of their daughter in an accident a couple use a doll as a stand in for their lost daughter. When they welcome a new baby they end up getting rid of the doll after some strange things begin to happen. The trouble is the doll won't stay gone.
Okay horror film never quite clicked with me. You could blame the slow pacing which results in us waiting forever for things to happen. Or you could blame the way some scenes are shot which make moments funny when they should be scary. Mostly though you can blame the fact that this film doesn't do anything new. There have been any number of possessed doll films over the years, and this film kind of references all of them.
I never engaged because for most of the running time I had a pretty good idea where this was going to go. Perhaps if the film had moved faster I might not have cared but the pacing allowed me to really think about how I had been here before.
A disappointment.
