Vicki Krieps locks her position as one of the best actors in the world as a recently divorced woman who comes out as gay and has her life turned upside down.
Doing away with all of the false drama of similar films, this is simply a portrait of a woman trying to find her place in the world. This feels less like a movie and more like life as lived. Krieps doesn't feel like she is acting, she is being. I have no clue as to how close this role is to her real life, but it feel like its her life.
This is a great film.
Forgive me, I have no notes. This is just a wonderful film with great performances.
