The course of a relationship over time from first meeting onward, all told at one restaurant and one table.
This is a small gem of a film. This is exactly the sort of film that Unseen Films was set up to highlight. This is a low key low budget film about people that reveals way more than any Hollywood film.
There are no fireworks here. The film is just two people talking over time. From a double date gone wrong through chance meetings and such the film focuses on the arc of a relationship, For the most part there aren’t any one other than Evan and Rhian. Yes there are other patrons, and the staff, but they are window dressing. Mostly this is just two people working on a connection.
It’s lovely.
While it probably won’t shake the pillars of heaven, it is something you’ll enjoy and which you will want to tell your friends about.
