Clown In The Cornfield is a great film. This is an old school horror comedy (think KILLER CLOWNS FROM OUTER SPACE) where there are genuine, unforce laughs and genuine scares.
The plot of the film has teens in a town stalked by Frendo, the clown mascot of the Baypen Corn Syrup factory.
Shot with a seriousness not usually found in most modern
horror films with humor, this film grabs you early and holds you to the end.
Not trying to be anything other than a genuine thrill ride the film mixes blood
and laughs for maximum effect. It’s clear that the people behind TUCKER AND DALE
FIGHT EVIL were behind it since that film is one of the few similar films to
mix genres.
This is an absolute delight and destined to become a
classic.
Highly recommended.
