This is a deeply disturbing black comedy, that is going to leave you bothered.
The plot of the film has Saul deciding to kill himself if he doesn't get laid by his 27th birthday, which is a month away. However things go wrong, really wrong.
Shot in a moody black and white, SINCERELY SAUL has the feel of a nightmare at 2am. It's a film that begins as a kind of loot at a shulb of a guy who we kind of laugh at, but however as things play out we understand why he is the way he is. the world he is occupying is broken- there be monsters here.
I was laughing at first, and then I wasn't. Yes the humor was there but it was so disturbing it stopped being funny. I kind of stopped liking it, but I wanted to see where this nightmare was going. Few films this year have bothered me this much.
I really liked it.
While not for every one, SINCERLY SAUL is a must see for anyone who wants a walk on the edge.
