The always great Hot Springs Documentary Festival starts Friday.
This wonderful festival is a great collection of documentaries from around the world. It's one of the best places for documentary flans to gorge themselves on cinematic delights. It is a festival I try to cover when I can.
This year I am not able to wade into the cinematic goodies. I am still buried with NYFF coverage and I could not spare the time. However just because I can't it doesn't mean that if you are in or around Hot Springs Arkansas you shouldn't go, you should. (Tickets and info here) And if you can't go you should check out the slate & schedule and make notes because what they screen will end up in the year end awards chase.
