This is a hybrid film. A mix of concert footage and documentary interviews celebrating the life and work of composer Simon Boswell.
While you may not know the name of Simon Boswell, he isn’t as well-known as people like Morricone, Williams, or Zimmer, the truth is you’ve heard his
compositions in films by people like Jodorowsky, Richard Stanely, Neil Jordan, Danny Boyle, Alex dela Inglesia and Lamberto Bava.
This is a solid little film, and if the blend of concert and
talking heads isn’t perfect (I would have liked two films one interviews and one just music) it still informs and
entertains.
