A pregnant woman travels to her families country home. While there she has some strange experiences and she calls her sister to join her. Worse the mother to be has the feeling she is going to die.
Less horror film and more a thriller, this is an extremely well acted look at a woman who is dealing with the demons of the past and fears of the future. Yes there are hints of spooky stuff but this is really a character study.
I really like this film. I love the cast who sell the story. I like that the film doesn't do what we expect. I like it so much that I am kind of confused that the film hasn't been picked up my some of the artier festival such as New Directors New Films or New York Film Festival.
Worth a look, especially if you have a soft spot for artier films.
