After their friend passes away, two women are tasked with cleaning her apartment and trying to sort out what to do with her daughter.
This is one a a handful of Tribeca films that I need to revisit. The weight of seeing over 125 films for the festival meant that small and special films get over shadowed. Films get lost. However after over 16 years I know this happens and I can makes notes and no to regroup.
I need to regroup and revisit I SPY WITH MY LITTLE EYE.
This lovely little film is full of real life and emotion. Watching the interaction of the ladies on screen you get a sense that they are friends. You can feel their shared life and gushes off the screen like an ocean wave. Its magic.
And as much as I was laid low in the best sort of way by this film, I know I need to see it again. I need to see it as a stand alone and not the fourth film in rapid succession. I need to watch it and then be able to sit with it and not move on to the next film.
I loved this film and I know when I see it again I will love it more.
