This is a look at George Whipple who became famous a reporter on NY1 cable channel and then moved on to E! and other entertainment news stations and sites.
I never knew much about Whipple because I never really encountered him. Known for the big eyebrows he was never someone I paid attention to. He just was sort of there.
Now that I've seen the movie, I know a bit more about him, but I'm not moved to be a fan. He's just this guy, you know.
The film is amusing but like the man himself, something of an enjoyable footnote.
