A young boy goes to stay with his grand mother and rattles cages when he reveals he wants to be a mermaid.
How this plays out will be determined by who you are. If you are, or were, a young person who doesn't know who you are, this film will is going to be a life line. This is a film that is going to save lives, its a film full of life and hope.
If you are in some other group this is going to be a very good film with some truly spectaular sequences. Odds are you'll find it to be a very fine film that wasn't made for you.
I like the film, but it wasn't made for me. Which is fine.
