Aftershock: Everest and the Nepal Earthquake

This is a multipart look at what happened when an earthquake ricked Nepal during the Everest climbing season. Focusing on a swatch of people  from residents to tourists to climbers, using video shot by those who experienced the events as well as interviews the film gives us a solid look at what it was like to be in country when mother nature decided to try and shake humanity off.

As a rule I don’t watch series, however I am a fan of mountain climbing films so during the slow time this past summer I decided to give the series a try and I ended up hooked. Watching the whole series in one go I found myself riveted by what I was seeing. It wasn’t just that the story was so amazing, but the fact that there was so much video. Sometimes words can only do so much and getting to see the events play out and the destruction had me going WOW numerous times.

While the film could probably be trimmed a bit in the middle, this is still worth your time.
