SOME KIND OF PARADISE (2024) Tribeca 2024

A cowboy barman ponders if an isolated life is worth it when he connects with an actor.

This is a sweet little drama that needs to be expanded.  While there is no doubt that everything we need to enjoy the film is here, the lives of everyone on the screen bleeds off the screen and into our own.

This is a wonderful gem of a film that soars thanks to it's cast selling every moment and the filmmakers not making a film but instead putting a slice of life on screen.
