Fantastic Fest starts Thursday and we are better for it.
The annual fest of off beat and genre films is amping up and
we should be getting introduced to some great films. While I have seen a few, I
am hoping to see more. I still haven’t gotten to some of the big films I want
to see....so keep reading
Even if you can’t go, one has to watch what the fest programs since so
many genre films stop there on the way to general release that you want to know
what you will have to see down the road. The big films that show up down the road start here.
I'm not going to go into too much right now, i haven't seen enough to really discuss this years fest yet, but I’ve liked what I’ve seen and I can’t wait to share the reviews. Because I haven't seen a lot, I am not going to do a recommended list, because, as this posts I’ve only seen three or four new films and I don't feel good doing a must see list when it's the only films I've seen.
That said, I do want to give you a word of warning, because
its subject matter may bother animal lovers, The film CRUSHED concerns the
crushing of small animals by people who stomp on them. Its fake of course but
the genre of films do exist.
Go buy tickets. Trust me just look over the titles and buy some tickets.

BEFORE THE FALL
BRIDE OF THE REANIMATOR- this is a great sequel to the Stuart Gordon Original- I'm not sure if I wrote this up or not.
CHOCOLATE - I did write this up - I can't find the link (hey there are almost 16000 reviews here at Unseen, it happens.) - this film has amazing fights.
FORBIDDEN CITY
FREAKED is a twisted tale from Alex Winter that is just great fun.
LUNATIC THE LUNA VACHON STORY
