This is just a quick note to say the Brooklyn Horror Film Fest starts Thursday and runs until the 19th.
I was going to write up a big long appreciation but life and other film festivals got in the way. Not to worry Reid Ramsey will be on the ground in in the slaughterhouses seeing who is delivering the best cuts of cinematic meat.
The fest is great fun and over the brief course of it's life it's turned into NYC's premiere horror film film festival.
I've seen a number of the shorts and they are really good so do make an effort.
I've also see a number of the films all of which are worth a look see:
ONLY THE GOOD SURVIVE (A MUST see)
MESSIAH OF EVIL (if you've never seen this see it)
I've also seen RINGU but I appear never to have written it up- go see it if you've never seen it
There is a lot of great stuff so make the trip and go see something scary.
