A fantastic cast make this short film one you will want to see as a feature (which I'm told is coming).
The film is the story of an unemployed man who takes a room with a high school friend is a drug dealer. While he wants no part of the life, he finds himself tagentially involved, complicating his growing relationship with a waitress with a great smile.
Playing like a big budget feature LOVE & OTHER CRIMES grabs us from the first frame. The film moves like the wind, giving us great characters to connect to. The performances fill in the blanks that the brief running time doesn't allow to be revealed via the script.
This film is a stunner.
You need to track this film down at one of the festivals its playing at.
