FRENZY MOON did not work for me. Its great practical effects lost in a run of the mill horror film.
The plot is the typical plot of friends going to a secluded cabin in the woods. Of course things go sideways, in the case when they find that there are werewolves around them.
A fantastic werewolf suit is lost in in a horror film that doesn't do anything special. This film hits every expected point and uses every visual trope- say lots of red and blue lighting- to try and create feelings by rote instead of by giving us real characters and interesting plots. While not bad, it's one of tose films that is good enough that had they actually tried a bit more they could have made a truly great film.
