SISU ROAD TO VENGEANCE is more bat shit crazy then the first film. It’s more a cartoon then the first film. It is great fun.
The film takes place after the Second World War. Finland has lost some territory to the USSR. Aatami Korpi’s home was in that territory and as the film begins he heads across the new border to get his home and bring it back. Unfortunately, it won’t be easy since the Soviets don’t like him, he killed hundreds of soldiers in the Winter War. The Soviets get Stephen Lang, the man who killed Korpi's‘s family and set him on the road to becoming a legend, to stop him before he returns to Finland. What follows is a bloody chase to the border
This is cartoon for adults. It’s the Roadrunner and Coyote but with humans who die. It’s just like the first film, only more so.
I really liked it.
Is it as good as thirst film. Not, quite but close. The reason I think this is less is that where the first film is a chase from start to finish, here there is a kind of break before the insanity picks up again.
If you like the first film this is a must. If you haven’t seen the first film but like insane action with gallows humor then you will love this.
I would like to add that while I would love a sequel, I honestly would prefer it to end here.
