Currently on Amazon Prime CHIQUITA is the story of a biker who has a mystical experience in the desert and it changes his life, shifting his world view toward an Eastern religious bend.
This is a solid short feature (it runs 46 minutes) about how a single event can change our lives for the better. While some of the sequences are a tad too cliche drama (say the break up of Charles' marriage) other sections are nicely unexpected.
If the film works it is because of Jody Dean as Charles. Dean's wise biker is a delight and he makes you want tp spend some time with him. He is not your typical biker, but one that is closer to the bikers I've met in real life, sweet guys and girls who are fun to be with.
I had a good time and if you've got less than an hour and want a good film this is for you.
