I'm not really going to review GOSH!! The reason being that this is the sort of film you wither connect with or you don't. Based upon a Cult TV show the film is about a cop and his police dog, which is a man in a dog suit. The bicker like a married couple. They get involved with the disappearance of a volunteer and the case takes them across time and space in a mystery that involves glowing red doors that keep appearing.
I've seen enough films to know that this film is either going to click for you or its not. This is exactly the sort of off kilter tale that Japanese film and TV makers are very good at. Its a kind of living manga/anime that makes no real world sense but is perfectlys fine in a cartoony sort of way.
I found it amusing at times but I'm not certain it all hangs together. That said it may work for you
