Brief thoughts on Frosted Window (2026) NYAFF 2026

This is a film I need to see again. I saw this in the middle of the wave of both NYAFF and Japan Cuts and the gentle charms of the three stories got lost.

The film is set in one area of a city and the stories are nominally romances of a sort. They are tales about trying to find something or someone. While they seem seperate they are quietly tied together.

I was intrigued. I was also very aware that what I was seeing was getting lost  among the crush of other bigger an louder films at the festival. I knew that I would have to circle back away from the fest.

If you want a small film that will move you, try FROSTED WINDOW.
