A young woman tries to relax by getting away to a relatives isolated cabin but finds that things aren't peaceful there and that her anxiety is taking a physical form.
I'm not going to say much about ANCESTRAL BEASTS because to be honest the film didn't work for me. The issue is not a good or bad thing, but simply that I don't think the film gets the tone right. As serious as the film is at times, there is a thread, or perhaps a rope of humor through the film that kept it from working for me. I also was not a fan of the films effort to make points about stress an anxiety. I never connected enough to know if I liked it or not.
At the same time there is some great stuff here and some sequences rock, so if the film interests you give it a shot
