Don Hertzfeldt's latest film is one the great films of 2026. Its a masterful revelation about life and humanity. It is a film that belongs in an art museum as one of the best example of the cnematic art.
PAPER TRAIL is the course of a life through the times pen hit paper. From birth to death. Its all the drawings as a kid, on tho school work, love letters, and then just signatures. As the weight and realization of what we are seeing hits us we are forced to consider our own lives. I was rocked and deeply moved. My loss of writing on paper more than my name crushed me.
You must see this film- I can't recommend it enough.
