A yakuza enforcer finds fame when his moves end up on Tic Tok.
I don't have a lot to say about BREAK FREE. This is a small little comedy with lots of laughs but not a great deal of weight. The lack of weight is perfectly fine since the laughs are constant.
What makes this work is the is the cast. Perfectly matched for the silliness everyone on screen sell the insanity. They perfectly mix seriousness with the occasional silly moment. The result is suspense and chuckles.
What a delight.
Sure this won't be the best comedy you've ever seen, but at the same time it will give you more laughs then most Hollywood comedies.
