Tehran, Under The skin is a look at the cosmetic surgery industry in Iran where procedures walk the filne line between personal control and politics
You will forgive me, but I’m going to keep this short and more a pointer than a review. My desire is to do so is not because the film is bad, but more that there is something about the presentation that didn’t work for me. The film is very much a “you are there” sort of presentation and in this case I never connected.
At the same time, I was discussing the film with some of the ladies at my day job and they were intrigued and wanted to see the film saying it was exactly what they wanted.
This is a well made documentary about something most of us never considered and is recommended if it seems interesting to you.
