Think Pink: Seven Clouseau Comedies August 4-10

The Quad revels in the misadventures and mishaps of the bumbling Inspector Clouseau with seven Pink Panther titles—all on 35mm!
No comedy film franchise has conjured movie magic quite like the sparkling—literally!—Pink Panther series. The wit and style of writer/director Blake Edwards alchemized with the ebullient brilliance of actor Peter Sellers as the magnificently maladroit Inspector Jacques Clouseau to create the perfect blend of sophisticated verbal humor and laugh-out-loud physical comedy. We're proud to present five classic Sellers/Edwards collaborations, plus 1968's Bud Yorkin-helmed adventure showcasing Alan Arkin's take on the character, and Edwards' final installment of the series featuring Roberto Benigni as Clouseau's son. Come for the quotable lines and “topping the topper” gags, stay for the slinky animated giant cat while Henry Mancini’s scores transport you into a world of slapstick and Euro-swank.
