EARTHLY ENCOUNTERS (2018) Tribeca 2018

Wonderful little film that echoes the best of Steven Spielberg's films like ET has a young man trying to save his dying brother with the help he has discovered at a garden center. The trouble is the government want to kill it.

Marvelous little tale is perfectly done so as to feel a big and meaty as a feature. This is great story telling in the perfect size- the 25 minute run time allows the story to encompass just enough elements that we feel completely satisfied at the end. It such a perfect little gem that I fear that this will lead to a longer version of the story which may not work.

As it stands this is a perfectly told tale that is going to charm the pants off everyone who sees it.  Other than being a little to Spielbergy, EARTHLY ENCOUNTERS is nigh on perfect.

Highly recommended when it lays part of the MAGIC ACTS collection of shorts.
