In brief: DAUGHTER OF MINE (2018)
Young girl who was given to a friend by her free spirited and irresponsible mother before disappearing from her life reconnects with the girl just before she is planning on leaving their village forever.
Slow moody film with minimal dialog and meaningful silences doesn't quite say enough to make it interesting. I nodded off while I played out how this was going to go in my head. While not bad it really wasn't the effort to stay awake either.
