Three Deaths (2020) Sundance 2020

Updating of the Leo Tolstoy story about three loosely connected deaths. The first is of a rich woman, the second of a poor man and the third I'll leave you to see in the film.

You will forgive me if I don't have a great deal to say. This is a small literary film that asks us to ponder the nature of death in society. There are most certainly three deaths and who they are  and how they are mourned says a great deal about who we are as a people.

Beautifully made on every level this is a good little film that is perfectly compact like an excellent short story.

Recommended.
