IN BRIGHT AXIOM tells the story of the House of Latitude. It was/is a weird social group/game/social experiment/philosophy/religion... experience that various people were invited into and which provided them with an immersive adventure aimed at changing the way they saw the world. The film relates the story of the House as well as the story of those that it changed forever...
And beyond that I really can't tell you much more. To be certain I could tell you what is in the film and all it's revelations, but you really don't want me to do that. This is one film that you need to belt in and just watch. That may sound like bunk but it's not. I say you have to see the film (or in the words of Hunter S Thompson, Buy a ticket and take the ride) because the film is structured like one of the experiences that the House of Latitude provided. This is an absolutely wickedly cool trip into another headspace and no review or discussion of the film is going to give you that.
At the same time this is a film you'll want to see with your friends because when it is done you are going to want to discuss the film with as many of them as possible. Ideas will be put into your head that you will need to talk about with someone who just had the same experience that you did. Trust me, when the film was done I emailed a good number of my writer friends to say "you need to see this."
What a wonderful mind altering experience.
One of my favorite films of 2019. A must see.
