Cherry Lemonade is an 11 minute short about a black girl, played by Eris Baker, (who will be familiar to many from This Is Us) who's brother is teaching her how to box. When she wants to go to the store, he won't take her. She decides to find a way to go herself, but ends up short on cash for the lemonade she wants.
A good short about a brother/sister dynamic, growing up in a low income neighborhood, the possible reality of the good guy not being so good, and also a short about a girl taking charge. There's a lot that's packed into these 11 minutes! I didn't find this short amazing, but it was good.
