This is a sweet romance with an off beat edge as two young people, kendo partners confess their love for each other. This leads to a romance. However things go side ways as their quirky ways begin to fill the void of the inertia of the romance. I saw this long before I started Unseen Films and it’s off beat nature was sone of the things that drew me deeper into Japanese films beyond the mainstream.
