The Viewing Booth (2020) DOC NYC 2020

Filmmaker Ra’anan Alexandrowicz  asks Maia, an American student (and others) with ties or interest in Israel to look at short film clips of life in the West Bank and discuss them. He is looking to see how people form their opinions  and/or change them.

An interesting experiment didn't rally work for me. While I was interested in the reactions and discussions for a while I found that at a certain point I disengaged and ceased to care. Perhaps its the presentation which is largely  just Maia's face as she watches the videos (Which we see)

While I know this is an important subject, I'm just not certain the execution makes it an important film.
