I know there are other things going on this week but I have to mention that Lincoln Center's ART OF THE REAL starts Friday and runs until the 26th. This annual look at the intersection of fact and fiction and art is one that is always worth your time. Why? Because they always show films that make you think and reconsider the world.
They also show some of the best films of the year as you can see by their running both CENOTE and MALNI – TOWARDS THE OCEAN, TOWARDS THE SHORE films that have haunted me since I saw them earlier this year.
While I am not going to cover as much as I would like to in the fest I will be posting some reviews closer to their screening. (The virtual fest is split into two weeks with some films only playing each week).
I don't know what else to say other than the fest is one of my favorites so look at the schedule and pick some films.
